Founder of The Mauer Foundation and currently fighting Stage 4 colorectal cancer, Mark is driven by a deeply personal mission to ensure cancer patients receive direct support with no middlemen and no overhead. His lived experience fuels the foundation’s commitment to transparency, compassion, and real-world impact.

With over 12 years of experience in the nonprofit sector, Ty is the owner, lead trainer, and consultant of Bechel & Associates Nonprofit Consulting, bringing strategic leadership and accountability to help advance The Mauer Foundation’s mission.
